Default Opinions on ATI Transmissions?

I need to replace the 4L60 in my car and since it's a weekend/strip project I wanted to go with a th350 with a manual valvebody and a TCI SSF converter. ATI seems to have really good prices on their competition transmissions and I havn't heard anything bad about them so far. They also offer the trans with the 9" tailshaft so I could use my old driveshaft. Anyone have any experiences with them or any recommendations on other companies to talk to? The transmission would be going behind a 355 LT1 with a vortech s-trim. Engine supposedly made over 500rwhp through a 6 speed in another car before with the same blower, so I wanted something that would be somewhat reliable with around that power.
