Default weird LT problems need help!

so i bought this 97 ta and it needed some love so i put some work to it, WELL i fixed a couple things and it still runs like crap, when its idling and i full throttle it the rpms go to like 2000 and then it cuts out and all the while the pedal is full throttle and its sitting like at 500-700 rpms stumbling and running all messed up, then it dies it has lean codes on both banks its not a vaccum leak i sprayed the intake with carb cleaner while it was running and it had no effect on it, i dont know wtf is going on maybe fuel pump or some crap, i replaced the opti, plugs and wires new fuel filter and thats it, i dont know whats up???????

Sounds like a fuel pump to me. But just a stab. I would check fuel pressure to verify.

Check your fuel pressure. It sounds probable.

well i took the fuel rails out today the injectors were clogged with what looked to be rust and sand so i cleaned it all up and looks to be running badass! but i still think the fuel pump is going bad since it makes the normal whining then a slow struggling whine, has anyone ever come across dirt and crap in the injector and rails? i would like to know where its coming from....
