Default Quick TB Porting question

newb question here. How can you port the stock ls1 TB? Maybe im missing something here but if you make the hole bigger doesnt that mean that you also would need to buy a larger TB blade? What am i not getting here? Thanks

you dont port around the blade, just around the mouth of the TB. i think you have the idle hole confused. people enlarge the hole in the TB blade to make it idle better with big cams.

Yeah basically you are smoothing the inlet side of the TB. You aren't actually opening the TB itself up. Don't port where the blade is. You want it to still seal correctly.
