Here's one I'm building from Iron ridge arms. I feel it is superior to the POF in a AR10... IMO.

The recievers they make are the ****.

I got to play with the 308 at the range, and omg is it heavy. I was a little bitch shooting it. You will have work on the standing postion, cuz the 308 will wear you down.

POF builds great rifles. I would opt for the .223/5.56 as its cheaper to shoot and not nearly as heavy. I build my guns around 1 in 7 barrel twists so I can shoot the heavier bullets, 75 grain. The como is lethal on anything. If you are really in the market for let me build you one the way you want it. The LMR guys have seen my gun house and can vouche for the quality. We can even build a SBR ( short barreled rifle) to double the fun in a small package. Buying the parts and building the gun yourself saves mucho dinero also. Let me know.

Buy LaRue, never look back.

He is a fellow Texan & one of the BEST in the business.
Here's is pic of my AR15, more of a long range setup will be adding a LaRue/Harris low profile bi-pod, NightForce precision benchrest 8-32x56 or another similar model, shoots 77 grain .223

IMO... .223 is the way to go, you can pretty much do anything you want with that caliber from target/ ******* off to small game hunting.
I'm a fan of building the gun. It's alot cheaper and you can build it the way YOU want it. I just got done with building my first AR, lol as soon as I change some things on it I'm going to start my next ar.

It depends on what Im looking for. I buy some of the parts such as lowers from spikes tactical, rock river and I buy alot of parts off of gunbroker.com, there are some really good deals there if you know what to look for.

you should step up to a fully automatic M4 that they carry at Academy. Its way cheaper then the guns on the links you posted, which makes it a no brainer. Plus, its made by Soft Air so you know its good quality.
