Default Are all LS heads like this? bolts in intake ports?

I'm a little new to all of this.

I just now noticed that the intake ports have holes in them and found that the holes in where the rocker arm bolts follow through.

Isn't this bad for flow and CFM's?

Does this occur in aftermarket heads as well?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Yes the 853 and 241 heads are for sure. I am just assuming that the rest are. I had a set of 241s ported and he ended up cutting into the actual threads. It's not a big deal, there isn't much you can do about it either, it's where it has to be. I just put thread sealant on the rocker arm bolts to prevent a vaccum leak.

stock un ported castings should be sealed, the only way you will see the hole protruding into the port is if they have been ported.
