I know this video is all about the Veyron, but those GT-R's sounded so nasty.

Those GT-Rs were rolling pretty dang hard too. Both are sick cars...just no arguing that fact.

The video was great too. Wish I had a camera that handled nighttime that well.

That one shot of the GT-R blowing flames when slowing down was friggin awesome. My car does that with the cut out open..just not for the same reasons I bet hahaha.

Yeah the GT-R is by far a much better looking car. I really liked that white one. And to think, those GT-R's were probably about 1/10 the cost of the Veyron after price of car and modding, and that white one held it's own pretty well. Call me crazy, but I'd take the white GT-R out of any of those.

I was being sarcastic about the weight thing :) That video is well shot. I love the quality of it. That white GT-R rolled out pretty well :D There is a local chinese kid(low 20's) with a GT-R that is supposed to be around 525AWHP and he took my buddy Kevin for a ride in it. Kevin said he's never felt a car shift like that thing does. He said it was simply amazing.

As to an LSX beating the Veyron question; not gonna happen. The power under the curve goes up along w/ the 253 MPH top speed w/ the key initiated added power & rear wing down.

I wouldn't bother racing it.. The only way I would (if I were the GTR owner) is just to hear it and see it blow by me.. :drool:

I can only imagine the TQ out of that quad turbo W16... :drool: I'm a Veyron leg humper, so that car is just beyond ridiculous.

Having had the opportunity to check a Veyron out up close I will say it's quite an amazing piece of machinery. Those two GT-R's are pretty sweet though.

I love the videos from these guys. The quality is pretty dang good.

There is actually (1) manufacturer's vehicle that can run w/the veyron off the lot; Saleen S7. The Saleen S7 is my favorite. Although, it's not as comfortably set up as the Veyron. Saleen S7 isn't made anymore, but, is a bad A$$ mother.

The Veyron typically runs low 10's at 140mph, so it would take a lot to best it.

Saleen S7 is designed for road course/LeMans racing & is not @ all a drag racer. However, also has 1000+ HP & had to be de-powered in it's racing class because it was winning too many races. However, the street legal, 1000 HP version was sold to the public without the class mandated power restriction. There is also a lower powered 750 HP version for drivers who thought that 1000 HP was too much for them to handle, lol.

damn thats badass the way the wing flips up to add some extra brakeing power. i thought the wing came fully up with the 2nd key and would reach 253 with it. the 1st key only allows it to reach 223 with the low wing.

Video also shows how the second key completely lowers the rear wing & the ride height of the car, among adding engine performance. I have it on DVD. Maybe Youtube has it as well. It's a better example than this one where it runs against the McClaron.

Man, it's unbelievable how quickly things change. The McClaron was GOD; just seems like yesterday & now... It's still a great car, but, not the greatest by far.

twin turbo tsi viper? My buddy has one thats at 1000hp at the tires right now. O what a race it would be.

There was one on Supercars exposed & it couldn't put it to the ground. So, it was basically conversational HP. The guy spun the tires @ 150 MPH & lost control :eek:. Not that I don't like the idea of 1000HP Viper, it's just difficult to use all of the HP. I love the body style of the mid to late 90's Viper.
