LS4 Performance - torque limiter?

hi everyone this is my first post on here but i just bought an 06 impala ss last week and so far i love it but i was wondering is there any way to bypass the torque limiter? the first time i had it happen i thought i was kind of scared because i had no idea about it haha. it is stock except for whoever had it before me decided to put some diff mufflers on it but not full exhaust. thanks for your time

oh and i would like to know where to look for a programmer im having a little trouble finding one also. thank you

A Diablo programmer would be nice for your 06, but does not offer any transmission tunes at all.

One avenue that would be best for you is a Vector Motorsports tune, or a custom dyno tune.

HPTuners is the way to go. Strap it on a dyno and see what she'll do.
