Default Picked my new pistol up today

I picked my new pistol up today, this thing is a canon. Its a 460 S&W from the custom shop, time for some long range pistol action.

Heres a few pics:

Heres a pic of a 460 round versus a .45 ACP round for size comparison.

Thats the plan, rifle hunting has gotten kind of boring, figure doing it with a pistol might make it interesting again.

RCC, that thing is sick but.... If rifle hunting is getting boring you should try bow hunting. You will probably get addicted. Also go hog hunting with dogs and knifes that will get really interesting!!!

Nice piece. I always like the 460's over the rest of the big cannon pistols.

I bow hunted for awhile. I like to shoot, but I do alot of long range stuff(1000yd) so deer hunting in east Texas has become alittle monotonous for me. I guide paying hunters on a high fence lease in my spare time. I figure taking game at 200 yds with a pistol will be a challenge.

The 460 is ballistically superior to the 500.
