Default Cam Install Question For 99 Auto

I am reading the LS1howto cam install and try to price out all the tools i will need for the install. I have an automatic and it says i have to drop the starter and install a fly wheel locking tool. Is there an easier way so that i don't have to remove the starter? Is there a pulley locking tool that can hold the pulley while I unbolt it? I saw in an older post that a member was selling these but am unsure if they are still available.

As far as keeping the motor from spinning over while untighting or tighting the crank bolt, you will have to remove the starter and lock the flywheel. You can buy a flywheel locking tool or you can just wedge a good prybar in between the teeth and the belhousing. The crank bolt will be the tightest bolt on the car.
