Finding Land for Sale Online?
The wife and I are ready to stop renting so we've started looking for land to build our house on. I really dont want to deal with a realtor right away as Ive gone down that route and they flood my email box full of **** I have no interest in. I want no more than 5 acres, 2 would be better, about mid ways between Austin and Dripping Springs. Ive been searching Google for real estate sites and its like pulling teeth to find anything relevant to what I want. The search criteria most times will still include land with houses on it, we want unimproved land that I can come in a clear and build our house on to save money on the intial buy since I will be building the house myself.
If anyone has suggestions of a certain website that would be great, or a realtor that I can call up and find out what is out there and about what kind of money Im looking at without being as pushy as a used car salesman that would be awesome.
Thanks, Cody

I am in the same boat. I am looking for just land back home in Columbus, Tx to clear myself and build our house on eventually. A lot of the work will be done by me or "subcontracted" out. That website is the main one I use.
