Default Zaino Kit in the TRASH!

I know you all are stuck on the Zaino kit but I did it !! Read below!!

Alright I finally did it I went out on a the line and called Griots Garage and ordered their Random Orbital waxing kit for 270 Dollars. I asked the salesman if it didn't work if I can send it back he said sure. I tried it out on my 1999 Honda Civic which has gone to the bodyshop to get the hood painted. When it returned I washed it a few times and the wax has worn off and I tried the Zaino on it and I could still see swirls in the hood. I gave the Griots kit a try and I was so amazed it got rid of the swirls and a few scratches on the car, let me tell you this was the best 270 Dollars I have ever spent! You are looking at a ALL Griots house for me for now on. The Swirl/Scratch remover and Wax was so easy to apply and easy to get off with the Orbiter. Here is the link below check it out!!

What you should have done after getting rid of the swirls was Dawn it to remove the oils from buffing and then Zaino'd it to protect it. The "wax" won't last longer or protect any better than any other kind of "wax" does.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I dont believe Zaino is intended to be applied w/ an orbital buffer. Isn't that right?

You would be correct in your assumption of zaino is not supposed to be applied with an orbital buffer, its by hand only.

Yeah ditto that I wasnt to impressed with the zaino either, actully I went back to Mcguiars gold class as the 10 step zaino process is just to much rubbing of my car for me.

People who don't follow the directions and apply it wrong are always saying how bad it is. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> I've never heard of anyone who used it properly going to something else.

Zaino is NOT an abrasive, it will NOT fix bad paint. I have to wonder how the car got that bad in the first place that it needed so much repairing of swirls and scratches. The only reason to EVER use a buffer is to use an abrasive. I know folks who also use buffers applying and removing a "cleaner" wax (mild abrasives) because it is easier than applying and removing by hand. Zaino is so easy to apply and remove there is no reason to ever use a buffer. The only complaints I've ever heard about Zaino were from people who never tried it or used it wrong. Except that they can't buy it at Walmart, but I wouldn't want someone who has no idea of what they are talking about trying to explain it to me anyway.

Will it make your paint prefect? No.

Will it improve the appearnce of your paint? Yes

Is the base start up of cleaning, claying, Z1 - Z5 - Z6 - Z5 . . . a lot of work? Yes.

Once on is it easy to maintain? Yes.

Does it look great? Yes.

Does it smell good? Oh Yes.

I was a die hard Meguires Gold Class user, but now, ZAINO BABY!!!!

Thanks! I was just trying to be sarcastic. It's kind of hard in a web forum. They should have some kind of sarcasm emoticon or something. I couldn't care less about other people's grammar.

I purchased my red T/A new over six years ago. I've always used Mequires on it. About three months ago, I tried the Zaino products. I, as well as others, noticed a remarkable difference in the car's paint. I only wish I would have tried it when the car was new.
