Default wirr wirr wirr noise still there!

Ok So I've had this kind of pulsating wirring noising from the rear that is driving me insane. It goes wirr wirr wirr wirr with the tires. I thought the wheel had a small wobble so I thought axle bearings and replacing a bent axle would fix it.

I replaced both axles and axle bearings and put new oil in the diff. I also replaced the tires and the noise is still there! Any other ideas?

Could you elaborate? Probably need a whole rebuild kit? I know I will hear 12 bolt or 9 inch but I really can' budget it right now so I will just have to rebuild

Just stop now and save your money for a 12 Bolt, M9, or a Dana. Putting money in a 10 bolt is not the best idea.

Mine did what you are describing. It was a carrier bearing, not that hard of a fix. Only way to know for sure what it is, is to pull it apart.

Mine did the same thing and the ENTIRE rear was f*cked.... the diff was tearing itself apart, all the bearings were toast and both axles were badly pitted.....

Mine did the same thing was carrier bearing as well. Been doing it for a while and it got real loud all of a sudden and I heard a loud bang. Limped it home and took off the cover and the damn bearing was gone to hell. Replacing all of them tomorrow along with new ring and pinion (GM 3.73)
