5.3L with muscle car pan swap etc.. I double checked the oil tube pickup when installing to make sure the oring did not get pinched. checked this twice. i cheked to make sure the tube was sitting flush as well. I get the car to start and no oil pressure. Pulled the oil fill cap and no oil up to the heads. My research on the forum would indicated my pickup tube is not sealed and need to pull the engine right????

Before i go to this task what can i do to eliminate any other possibilities?

Is it possible to remove the pan with out pulling the motor out completely?
