If your SES light isn't on then i would say no but with longtubes the KM might pick up some false knock. Nothing a mail order tune cant fix or a LT4 KM

Yes you should, especially if you delete the cat(s).

It is certainly worthwhile after headers.

If you are getting rid of any emissions stuff and don't want an SES light or notice the car feeling sluggish (likely from false knock) then yes for sure. Otherwise you might not need it, but IMO its still worth it if you have the cash available. Not only is the stock knock sensor over sensitive, but the O2 sensors have been moved farther back, which will likely cause the car to be just a little extra rich. Even if everything I said above was total BS, which by my limited experience I don't think it is, then still next to an intake, its about the cheapest power mod you can do thats really worth much of anything.

True. The reason I say the cats is not so much a check engine light thing, but rather that the car will run retard rich, have less power and less mileage.

The stock calibration DUMPS fuel at it when you delete the cat.

yes, tune the car. putting headers on these cars i've seen the tunes go very lean or very rich depending on whats also done to the car. Even if the SES light isn't on, I can almost guarantee you your WOT fuel trims are incorrrect now. If they went lean, this can cause some problems, if they are rich you're loosing power that you paid for when you bought the headers. I've never seen a car that didn't benifit from a tune after a header install. I'd reccomend tune either way.
