Apparently some people are a little more into the bling :pimp: and less into the zing. :drive: ;)

With this new generation of Camaro having a wheel-well that could swallow a 22" from the factory I kinda figured that this is what would happen. GM made these damn things so big that what we are used to doing just doesn't work anymore. I don't think it looks bad or good really, it just kinda "is" to me. CCW makes a nice wheel though.

Thought nothing smaller than a 18 would fit the front of these?

Yes, Dallas raceway. V6 front and rear brakes.
Alot of people like the whole big wheel deal, not me. Slow the car down to much, besides that, were going to the drag races..... Not a DUB car show.

Yup, as long as you like it, who cares. Personally they look way too small and out of place to me but my opinion and a buck might get you a soda.

I would love to have that wheel setup, I race the shit outta my 5th gen & am still running on 18" C6 wheels, I need to get the $ together for the Bogarts, wanna keep my brembo's, but need lighter & smaller wheels, without going to V6 brakes.
I'm thinking the haters aren't really racers. If I had to run rainbow colored wheels on my car to get the sidewall I want, I'd be running rainbow colored wheels. I run my car for ET, it's nice having the quickest 5th gen to ever run at my track. My NA ET's are quicker than anyone around me with superchargers, or nitrous. When I spray it, the gap widens. My wife driving my car is the 2nd quickest 5th gen driver at my track. :)

I will make sure to say whats up If i see you around, i was out there last year and saw you running 10's. I just got into the 5th gen scene and I will probably keep it stock except intake and a set of c6 wheels with nt05r's.
Dallas Raceway is getting pretty full of itself though, i went to a test and tune the other night and it was 25$.

yeah i have issue doing something to go fast, but ditching great brakes on a 4000lb car seems a bit like an anti performance idea to me.

I believe his car weighs less than a 2010 V6 car so the brakes should handle stopping duties just fine.

The brakes work great, even with the heavier wheels on it. I dont have any problems at all.....

Hey OrangeChevy do you know if the 17" version of those wheels will clear the stock brembos?

i like the drag setup, but BLACK ccws IMO arent that great. the black makes the fantastic wheels looks just like any other unless close. still looks good though.

I highly doubt it, from just looking and asking around 18's is as small of a wheel you can go on stock SS brakes.

I know bogart 17's clear, Im just trying to find a cheaper alternative.

The CCW 17's will clear the front brakes, not the rear though.

Wheels look sick!! I just think they need a little tire dressing since the rest of the car is so shinny. Hope to swap in the SS or CTS-V brembos up front but haven't confirmed whether CCW 17 inch wheels clear?
