funny pulsing vibration 2100rpm-2600rpm

I have a funny vibration coming from under the car, but i do not feel it in the wheel. Seems to start around the 2100rpm range thru about 2700rpm range. All gears (A4 btw) TIA

Did you change your tranny mount recently to a polyurethane one?

yeah it did it to mine the poly mounts are notorious for vibrations. I have herd to cut down the vibrations you can take the metal plate off and grind down the sides of the mount.

I called my tranny guy, who rebuilt my transmission, and he said my stock trans mount looked good.

from 130k here to 167k and on 2nd stock rubber mount(2nd tranny since 125k when original expired..2nd expired back in Feb. this yr) ..the mount can "look good" and still be separated..
