Default Shim Question

I found a rebuild kit at orellys for my rear end with all the bearings and seals that I need but it doesn't come with Shims for the pinion or carrier. Would it be ok to use the old shims?

MAYBE if you are not changing ratios. However you should have some ready, and definitely need to measure to make sure you will have no problems.

most deff, if your doing a bearing change you might could get away with out shims but deff not if your doing a ring and pinion change
