Default Whats the difference in alternators for 93-97 z28s?

Looked on rock auto and 93-94 years interchangeable only. I need a new one for my 93' and was wondering if I can get a 95-96 year model to work.

Thanks guys

93-mid 94 are 124 amps

mid 94- 97 are 140 amps

Other then that, they look identical besides the fan.

Good to know, I looked at the wiring diagrams and everything is the same. So im guessing the rating is just different.

I put a 95 on my 93. You need to get the 95 bracket for the mount near the engine. I actually made a bracket myself. The 140amp is better if you have a big stereo and you run A/C.
