Default Tune Questions

Hey guys I just finished putting on my LS6 intake and Obx headers on my 99 SS. I removed the EGR while I did the intake. My question is how much difference will having this set up tuned make?

I do want to have the EGR shut off cause Im sick of the light. It already has a true dual exhaust with an X pipe, its been tuned to have the air shut off before and the rear 02s shut off.

Just wondering what I should expect or if its really worth having it done for $400 bucks.

Yes its worth it. Most places will only charge a minimal fee for a retune, and some are free. A tune on a bone stock car has been shown to be an improvement. Headers and intake are no exception. Its going to throw some stuff out of whack with regards to A/F.
