Default Looking to adapt 90mm LS2 throttle body to LS1 intake manifold

Hey guys is there a way to mount a throttle body part number 12580760 90mm truck throttle body 4 bolt. to a 3 bolt LS1 intake or 3 bolt truck intake? I need to use that throttle body or one electronically compatible to it for swapping a V8 into a 2004 colorado, and I would like to use a cheaper LS1 or truck engine if possible. I wonder if someone makes an adapter to mount a 4 bolt throttle body to a 3 bolt intake??

Is an ls1 intake even 90 mm's? I'd not what's the point? Put an ls2 intake on it then use the 90mm tb. If you have cathedral port heads it should bolt up fine.

They aren't, and I think he knows that. May be why he is looking for an adapter to mate a 75mm~ with the 90mm~? That would be my guess atleast.

It cost alot to get a LS2 intake, I am trying to keep the cost a a minamal, basically I want the oposite of this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LS1-L...#ht_2128wt_732

I can get a LS1 and T56 for about 4000-4500 + 90mm throttle body 200 + LS3 E67 computer 300 = 4500-5000 total as opposed to a LS2 and T56 for about 6500- 7500 If I swap to a Ls2 intake than I also need the rails, cross over tube etc.., and that gets pretty pricey I might as well go with a Ls2 to begin with than!

Ls2 intakes should be rather cheap on eBay. I wish I'd know a few weeks ago lol. I just got rid of one for 100 bucks

If you modify that plate on eBay you could make it work. Counter sink the 3 holes ls1 patern so a bolt head will sit below the plates surface. You should be able to find some bolts with low profile heads at a hardware store. Then just bolt the ls2 thottle body to it's holes. Thread the holes with a tap so you don't need nuts.

TPIS makes/modifies ls6 intakes to accept 90mm throttle bodies.
http://www.tpis.com/parts/view/39
I beleive you can send them your intake if you have an LS6 already and they modify it for ~350

It'll be easier to just get the LS2 intake
