Default Bad Lifter

I had a bad lifter in my motor, Can I replace only the bad one or should I do the whole set? wear patterns, etc

You could replace only one if you wanted to, but a new set of lifters is only 140 bucks. Once you get the heads off IMO its a good idea to replace the whole set so you don't have to go back and do it again if another one fails.

and lifter trays if they have been in there for a while!
