Default Do I need a tune???

I recently installed LTs and an ORY on my camaro. I bought 2 of the corvette O2 sensors so that they would reach to the headers from the front O2 plug ins. My car idles pretty rough. It seems like it has a miss, and sometimes it will dip down to 500 RPM and surge badly. It runs good under normal throttle but when i first give it gas from idle, it hesitates then jumps out hard. So do i need a tune? Or is something else going on? I also deleted AIR and EGR.

Of course you need a tune, especially to delete EGR and AIR from the computer.

It'll make your car run bad, and have that service engine light **** on.

I would check to make sure your plugs, plug wires, fuel filter are all good. take the TB off and clean it real good, IAC too.
I've never any of my ls1/lt1's do that before i got it tuned...

I put new plugs and wires in with the headers and double checked to make sure they were all plugged in correctly. New fuel filter about 5k ago, nver any problems after that. I also pulled the lid off to see if anything was stuck in the MAF. I guess i will pull the TB off and clean it out and the IAC.

I thought the codes for the AIR and EGR would just throw the light, not affect driveability. So after i get the codes deleted it should run better? Im still planning on a dyno tune this summer

I do not have cats. If i get a dyno tune they can delete the codes also correct? I dont think i am going to go with a mail order tune if so.

Yeah they can delete the codes with a dyno tune. Sounds like more of a maintenance issue than something that needs to be adjusted in the tune to me, but I could be wrong.
Make sure your not getting any arching off the plug wires.
People saying it needs to be tuned, what exactly do you think needs to be changed in the tune thats making it idle rough or miss?
