FINALLY!!! pics up too
After months of searching for the right car I finally found the one.
It is a bone stock Silver 02' WS6 m6 with 82k miles on her, one owner car with a clean car fax report. I picked it up from a guy I had been talking to about it over the course of a month while I was looking at other cars.
Bone stock right down the stock exhaust tips. Not even an aftermarket air lid.
I've had multiple people back out on selling their WS6 because they realized how much they loved their cars. It was just frustrating as hell for me, but I'm glad I finally found the one.

The interior is just as immaculate as the exterior except for a minor scratch like abrasion on the passenger seat. This was a one owner car (carfax checked out), he even had the original window sticker. It's been garaged for the most part since 2007.

It booked for $12,500 and lets just say I paid more than that, but it wasn't ridiculous either. It was def worth what I paid for it.
I know I had brought up the "whats it worth" thread a month ago and most on the board said they would never pay any more than 11k for the car.
Given the fact that these things are so hard to find from one owner that never modded the car, and kept it in pristine condition, it was definitely worth what I paid for it. There was some sentimental value to it as well, I was buying with logic but emotion played a role as well. And when you buy with some emotion attached, emotion usually trumps logic. I have no problem with that either. I got what I wanted and I'm happy.

i dont think you payed to much for it, hell you payed less for it than i did prolly i traded this with 75k
for this with 48k on it
i love the car but i miss my truck like crazy, its kinda hard to get rid of something you built from the ground up and had a lot of blood, sweat and money in. part of me wishes i woulda kept the truck but every time i look at my car im just like "man that things sweet". i wish i could have both but i wanted a f-body so i got one.

hodge, don't sweat it man. You got what you really wanted. In a perfect world you would have both, in this case it's the truck or that nagging love for the WS6 that you can't get rid of.
Ultimately,i think you made the right call.
I was walking back to the office yesterday and turned around and looked at my car sitting at a mean angle in the shade. I was like, damn I'm lucky to have one that clean.
Then as I watched from a distance as people left the office, I saw every one of them take a look at my car. Its definitely a beautiful car that everyone can appreciate.
Trucks/Vettes/ Bimmers are all nice but they are a dime a dozen, you rarely see any WS6's cruising around anymore. I havent see one in like 3 months where I live.
They Birds are truly a dying breed. If you're lucky enough to have one, hang on it it. If you're dumb enough to sell yours, then you will regret it. That is fact.

yea i guess, i prolly wont ever get rid of the car, but then i said that about the truck to. if it works out the way i plan, when i get out of the marines in a lil over a year and get a good job ill buy a silverado ss and start over again. i think im so mad about it because i got rid of a truck that had so much done to it and looked amazing for a car that looked stock and i hate having a car that looks like everybody elses, but that will change with time, i have big plans for this car i will just have to build it over time like i did the truck.
