Default missing at crusing speed

so from 2500-3000 rpm it misses or studders. If I rev it up to 3k it goes away and pulls great till 6k. It idles good with no missing so I don't think its a melted plug wire. Has msd opti and coil. No check engine light.

Where should I start?

Thanks!

A low rpm miss like that which goes away at higher rpms is usually a shorting issue. Make sure you dont have a melted wire although you dont "think" it is you need to check.

Could also be a tear in a boot by the opti, etc. I had one like that.

Was sparking out the back of the boot on the opti side. Taped it up and all good now.

Check your plug wires first. That's what itsounds like to me. Then get the car scanned somecodes don't throw a check engine light. You can try unplugging the maf to make it run in closed loop to rule out the maf and oxygen sensors.

....or you could do what most do and keep beating the nuts off the car until that problem isnt your biggest one anymore?
