Conversions & Hybrids - What does your ls based fox body weigh?

Whats does your lsx,ls1,lq9,lq4 etc fox body weigh?

hatch, lq9, gutted, cage, d1sc, 2864 with out me and about 4 gallons of fuel.

mine should come in right at 3000 with me in it. 12 point cage heat and full interior

where are you losing all the weight at?

I weigh 180

Lots of stuff has been duplicated in alum in the front the car. Cut all the bolts down light wheels brakes tube everything in the suspension.
I still have the bumpers in the car. They are alum also.

Watch the ounces and the pounds will fall. I would like to make some things in carbon just don't have the time to do it.

i have tube k member, coil over, tube a arms, weld wheels, sheet metal dash, kirkey seats, fiberglass hood. with me in it my car it was 3003. onlything i can see doing next is bumper supports, radiator support maybe the door supports,

before I bought my roller, my buddy had it at 26xx with gas... sbc 355(80 lbs of fill in the block) th350,carbed,one seat,10 point, empty dash, pro stars...

went 10.9's off idle flashing the converter...

I'm doing the same except I'll have a 5.3 with a turbo bigger fuel cell, should be well under 3k race weight.

this is a hatch too...

My coupe weighs 2820 without me and with a 1/4 tank fuel. Full interior, heat, no cage or anything though.

They are heavier then I thought
