Default emission friendly headers

I have to pass a visual inspection of the car so i have to run headers with air, egr and cat. which headers are going to give me the best bang for my buck and keep that emissions. from reading posts it seems like the AS&M. but i was wondering if there was any thing else.

Give the MACs a try too. I ran them for awhile and was pleased. Have them coated too. AS&Ms are nice but way overpriced, IMO.

im most likely go with the MACs i figure by the time they wear out. the car will be old enough to not need emissions.

most guys will say either mac or asm i found a good deal on a set mac mids seem to be the best fitting but only have 1 5/8 which if you plan to do fine if you ever what to do a heads/cam package im sure the asm 1 3/4 would be better. I believe both these mid length headers are illegal in ca

oh i live in ny but im moving to Virgina.

i have a set of ebay long tubes right now. but they dont even allow for a cat. if i was staying in ny i wouldn't worry about it becuase i know where to take it to get inspected but im not to familiar with VA and there standard so i figured i run some mids for a while till i get used to the area and there inspections.
