Not sure if I need to change the spark plugs, I bought the car new in 2002, only has 10,000 miles on her now but since its been 8 years should I swap out the original plugs? Dont mind spending the $$ for new ones but dont wanna pull em out if i dont need to. Car only comes out on weekends in the good weather. Still runs fine but just wondering what u guys think. Thanks.

If it runs fine and your MPG is fine dont worry about it. Dont fix what is not broken lol

Thanks, probably just leave em in for a while. Runnin fine. Unless there is a power advantage to upgrading to a better plug, but from what i here it wont be anything noticable.

no power upgrade from them unless the first ones are bad. So I would just forget about it and spend the money else where

Plugs do not wear out just because they are XX years old. It's all about driving style, engine run time, and tune quality.
You will likely see zero benefit from changing out 10k mile stock plugs on a stock car.
