Default Guys running 105mph in the 1/8th

What are you guys trapping through the quarter...My car ran 10.44 at 128 but I think i ran out of nitrous. The 150 shot picked up 10mph in the 1/8th but then i only netted 8mph over a motor pass through the quarter...What are you 150 shot guys picking up through the quarter mph and et wise...

Well I'm not running any nitrous, but I trap 101 MPH in the 1/8 and 126 MPH in the 1/4.

I think the top end MPH would vary some depending on gear/tire/converter and sometimes areodynamics.

Your +10MPH in 1/8th and +8MPH in the 1/4 sounds like the right ratio if you are spraying the entire run.

I don't know if the following number are a Forced Induction thing, or if they apply to Nitrous as well, I always thought you gained about 25 mph from the 1/8th to the 1/4th. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I run 110.5 in the 1/8th, 135.5 in the 1/4 so I pick up 25 mph or 18.5% of my mph in the last half of the track. Factor that to your 105 and you should run about 128.6.

That can all be influenced by gearing, camshaft, converter, nitrous, turbos, aerodynamic, etc. Assuming you have the "correct" gearing for nitrous, with my experience with nitrous and seeing LS-1 cars MPH better than other brands, I think you are probably a few mph slower than you should be, and probably did run out of nitrous. Your et will not fall off much, but your mph will take a hit.
