Default Matress

My girlfriend and I have been shopping for matresses lately and MAN it's depressing how expensive they have became! Temperpedic beds are over 2K. While searching online I found this. http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden...product-detail

Does anyone have this matress? It seems to get awesome reviews and it's cheap!! Shipping is also $2.75 (not a typo!!)!!!! Seems too good to be true! If it sucks I mean I'm out of $300 bucks but if it's awesome I just saved a ton of money!!! With the money saved I can get DPE wheels!!!! I know the CEO so if anyone needs DPE wheels I may be able to help you there in that department. Lol. Anyone have experience with that matress. Any recomendations?

One thing I have found out is don't try and go cheap on something that you sleep on. Talk about having back problems or not getting good sleep F-that.

I have this at home and love it. I have the king size and you can't tell when someone gets out of bed.

The best thing is to find someone that works at a matress store, department store or furniture store that can get you a discount. My wife and I had a family friend that worked at a matress giant 3 years ago when we bought our new matress. I was blown away when she told me she could get us the matress we wanted for cost + 10%. Well all I gotta tell you is the mark up on matresses is crazy as we picked out one of the most expensive matresses in the store (Simmons Beautyrest Platinum) as a joke cause is cost close to 3K and we couldn't afford that. Well she came back with the price and w/tax it was just over $900. Trust me find someone for a discount it will save you tons as our friend managed a Matress Firm and made over 100K a year due to those large comissions.

Don't get a pillow top. Bought one last year, was great for the first month, but just like a regular pillow, it flattens out after that.

It depends on the brand... I have had mine for over a year and it's just as puffy as when we got it.

As for what DAVE00 said is true......But alot of the times you can just tell them I'm not paying that much and they will ask you how much are you looking to spend.

I think I spent like $2k for mine. They had a deal going at the time but hey it's well worth it.

I sleep alot better not.

Only if you weigh 400 lbs or get a really cheap matress!!! Our Beauty Rest is three years old and feels the same as the day we bought it. It all depends upon the quality you buy and how big you are.

Just like anything, cash talks. The markup is crazy. I bought a $1500 mattress once for $800 cash from a Mattress Giant style store. Go in after a big sale has ended and negotiate.

I have a Temperpedic and what I like is when the wife or I get in or out of the bed it does not wake up the other person.

i have a temperpedic and it's the best sleep I have ever had. (but I bought the off brand from wal-mart for 600 bucks for a king, it's thicker and softer IMO. I love it!)

sex doesn't suck on it lol that's freaking funny!!

and what others have said when your girl/wife/stripper/hooker/etc gets up they don't wake you up since you don't feel it.

For three hundred dollars that's almost a steal. All revievs are positive with that bed.
