Default What's going on here?

I can lift up the left side, but it falls back down. Nothing appears to be broken. My Dad said I have to put some adhesive or something back up the hole where the support is.

The trim is just held in on the inside with standard interior trim fasteners. Imagine some came undone after 12 years of opening and closing your hatch. I've swapped that trim panel out in the past when I converted interior colors from tan to graphite.

I'm not talking about the trim. The trim is fine. We popped that off a couple days ago. I'm talking about the metal hole where the support sits. The trim just covers up the metal. When I say lift it up, I mean lift up the entire, not a trim piece that's hanging down.

Weird, must be a 98+ problems like door panels cracking because I've never had that issue with my 93.
