Thumbs up ideas or suggestions for lt1?

I have been having a traction issue with my 1994 camaro lt1. It has longtubes with an open y pipe, kand n fipk 1Le elbow and a recently rebuilt a4 transmission. The problem is I cant even ease into the throttle from a stop without going sideways.I would have never thought it could have so much low end torque without full exhaust and to top it off it has the wimpy 2.73 gears in the back.I was looking under the car and there is a bar behind the rear end that is bent a little its kind of under the fuel tank.Could this be the problem and if so where could i buy one of these for cheap?Sorry for the long post but i want to get this car going straight.

+1 for tires...there should be no reason you have traction issues with bolt ons if you have decent tires...

GMHTP ran a formula into the 11's doing wheelies with stock sized slicks on 16 inch rims and had no traction problems...

Get some BFG's or Nitto 555r's and that should solve your problem...

sounds like you have a peg leg rear or something.
