Question Dash and Dash Pad removal.

So for some reason or another both my dash pad and dash have cracked by the guage cluster hump in the dash. I searched with no avail, so could someone please point me in the direction of a write-up or how-to on removing both the dash and dash pad as I will be replacing them here shortly.

Thanks in advance, Sean

you need to take off the two plastic pillar covers that run the length top to bottom of the sides where the windshield and door meet. from there there are at least 6 V style clips that you just pry up ion the dash cover. go SLOW, and do not put more pressure around the crack area. use a flashlight if need be you can see the clips. pull up, glue up, push back down... pretty easy

dash pad removal.......remove the pillar plastic on both sides.....2 screws at the top ...you can see them after you remove the t tops...then jus slowly pull them straight out....only 1 clip holds them in...then pull up on dash slowly.....unclip the security light in the middle of the dash and if you have 1.....the DRL sensor..they are both together....there are clips underneath on the bottom of the dash in the front and velcro in the rear....most likely the clips on the front will be broken where the dash plastic inserts into the clips...all of mine were.......i was gunna try to glue mine.....it was just cracked......but i later broke it in 2...so i sed puck it and bought a new 1..........GM still has em.......300$......just did it yesterday.....took 3 min to put the new 1 in..........me happy now
