ls1 camaro 2gen conversion headers question...
I´m just finishing my proyect (ls1/a4 on my 73 camaro) and for headers i´m using paceseatter LT for the conversion, need to modify them a little for proper fit (there are some post of that mod). Ground clearence is great. Last days I´ve seen that maybe 2010 camaro LT headers will work without any mod, someone have tried this? it is possible? a found a pair of crome 2010 camaro LT header for 300 on ebay, maybe instead of modifying better to buy this ones.. what do you think?

Ebay ones are prolly small tube China ones. The Edelbrocks looks good but IIRC. they hang a little low and one person here had a problem with them RUSTING. Edelbrocks literature says they are SS (IIRC). But I am betting they are coated with something SS or they are a low grade SS Don't know 100%

There's a few threads on NastyZ28 about which headers are bests to use with an LSx swap into a second gen. IIRC early pacesetters were the better fit and some still had to be massaged.
I'll be mocking in an LQ4/4L80E in my 1980 Z28 once my tranny gets here next week.

People have suggested buying big block headers and replacing the flange with an ls1 flange. However i tried to search on both forums and was unable to turn up any pics from anyone having completed this.
