Default anyone using the new coilovers for the rear?

just wondering if they were worth it or not...

I can't see much, if any, justification for rear coilovers for 99% of the users out there (And I'm not real sure about that last 1% either). I don't suspect there will be much if any change in unsprung weight. And, the upper rear shock mount is not designed, nor was it intended (it is just stamped metal, and a single layer at that) to support the weight of the vehicle. The loads placed on this area by the damping action of shocks are considerable. I don't consider adding extra load to this to be a good idea. You'll notice that the rear spring sits inside the frame on several layers of steel to form a very strong pocket for carrying the weight of the vehicle. I suspect that was engineered that way for a reason.
