Default Advice anyone ?

hello i have just finished installing my pacesetter long tubes, ORY, and ls6 intake. I have gotten rid of the egr and air systems. Upon completion i went to start the car and heres what happened ... all normal power turned on radio lights fuel pump and so forth then when i turned the key to start the motor i had a click and lost all power to the car any ideas ? Thanks in advance

go back and make sure anything that you unplugged that NEEDS to be plugged in is. did you dissconnect your battery when doing the headers for some reason? check that as well.

make sure all sensors are connected,and check for a loose ground.

sounds like battery to me, i just got done dealing with this on my car too

Disconnect the battery terminals then reconnect them. Sometimes the terminals either get lose or get corroded.

Did you have the ground on the passenger side of the block disconnected during your installation?

If so, thats where I'd check if you don't have any luck with retightening the battery terminals.

And if neither the ground nor the terminals fix the problem, I would say your battery is toast, as the above post stated.

Did you remove the starter? And if so did you reconnect it properly?

Did you try recharging the battery?

Yea, thats my guess, he was working on the car for a while and forgot to unhook the battery. Then when he turned it in the on position he had some power which is why the radio and stuff worked but when he tried to crank the car it just killed it. It really sounds like a dead battery, or at least battery related.
