Default Convertible probs?

Have a 99 z28 convertible. When driving on bumpy roads (there's a lot of em here in Michigan) the front end feels like something's not right. Went to get front end alignment and suspension check up today at a frame shop that has great mechanics. Guy told me that other than the toe being off a little, everything is tight and the alignment numbers were good. He said that maybe its just the nature of the beast. 53k actual mile car. Any ideas? Anything that I might check that he didn't notice? Or should I look into frame connectors and shock tower brace? Or am I maybe just used to a very tight driving Grand prix (my daily driver)?
