QTP TT2 Classic and EBC Rotors and Green Stuff Pic
Here is my rim/rotor set up. Regular TT2s that i had painted in a gun metal. Matched with EBC Rotors and EBC Greenstuff pads. Looking good and it stops really well. The body shop was not supposed to paint the center caps but they did. So i might get the SS center caps and leave them in the polished look. So whatcha think?

Looks good, but I'd really like to see some full body shots! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Nice.
I don't know if you've seen my page yet, but I got
a few pics of installing the EBC rotors.
www.host4all.com/~ls1
I've got the same setup, but I have to pull my
rotors off and paint the hats. I guess the brake
cleaner didn't like the black paint, and I wanted
to be real sure my brakes were clean, so now I
have a bit of rust on mine. Good braking tho.

I like it.. except for the green pads, dosent exactly go with the blue car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
I would also paint them rotors.. im partial to red but silver would look good also..
good work! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Nice! Gotta love em TT2's! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> But as for the green brake pads . . . <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
But looking good. Now you both need to lower them just a touch and paint the rusty spindles!

Please do your SSs a favor and lower them. Thank you.
Like the wheels except for the gray center caps. The SS caps would look great, i still need to buy a set.
Green Brake pads are kinda nasty though. If it looks good in person, then fug it. keep em.

Barry whats up, its me Ben.
So those are the rims, looks like the ones off the Intimidator SS, i would keep the inserts the color they are, i think if the inserts were polished it would throw it off.
my 2 Cents
I cant wait till i get my TT2's there gonna have crome spokes and polished SS inserts

Look good, and not to be **** but I think the gray needs to be metallic and the chrome center caps make a big difference. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I know body shops differ, but how much was it to get them painted? How many hours did they charge you for? They look good, might think about doing the same for mine... damn polished aluminum is a bitch to keep up with. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

I have the same wheels and rotors on my car ,they look great. Yes you can paint the pads. My car is the SS in the back of Barry's car in the one shot. I have been thinking of painting my wheels also, since I seen barry's car. LOOKS GREAT!

Re: QTP TT2 Classic and EBC Rotors and Green Stuff Pic
for what its worth, when i painted my calipers, i just cleaned the area, and sprayed the caliper, and center of the rotor, after about 10 miles, the rotors will be clean again, as the pads will remove the paint.
