Default I wish....

I had a third gen..

This Cobra just isn't nice enough, or fast enough.

Anyone else out there with like a Bently, or a TT Gallardo ever feel that need to just jump up and trade it all for a third gen as well?

Last time I talked to SW he was getting rid of all his car so he can buy a low mile Turd Gen. He said something about them being the best aerodynamic cars to bless the earth. He doesnt mind how terrible they look because they perform! But I have yet to trade up to the holy grail of Third Gen because I just dont know if I could keep that badboy under control. Im frankly to young to die.

Simply ahead of their time, where as Porsche's are often rarely considered classics of often little note and merit, a third gen Berlinetta is by far the greatest icon in classic performance.

Lol. So much hate. On that note, the LB9 was the great grand daddy of the ls1, it was touched by the hand of god and later gave birth to many many many crossbreed lsx children.

So you're agreeing that without the third gen to look up to none of the modern supercars could have even been.

It's a well documented fact that the Veyron is simply a detuned Iroc Z with slightly less areodynamics and creature comforts. What can you do you know, the third gen was by far the most beautiful and powerful automobile of our time. As noted in other threads worth at least 2 or 3 maybachs. To want for a third gen is to quest for the holy grail of the automotive universe.

Like I said, I could only dream of having enough Cobras to trade in for one.

Funny thing is Im not lying. If I were to build a drag car it would be a 3rd gen camaro. It would have an LSX or BBC. I dig the looks of the Irocs

Gale Banks went 283MPH with one at the salt flats, they are fairly aerodynamic and the ones with the right suspension, WS6 & IROC cars were really decent handling cars for their time, magazines got any where from .87-.90. Only the Firehawks had 17s, all the rest were on 16s. People still road race the heck out of them, end of the day I still like the 4th gen cars more

The GTA head rests were inspired by ET
