Default hard start

My car has always started first try out of nowhere it takes around 3 cranks to start it. Any ideas? Btw its got a good opti fuel filter o2 sensors and the plugs look normal

Fuel pump is first thing I do check ! any code ?

answer these 2 question

1 : Doest your car hard to start after it been park a long time, like over night ? it take 2-3 try before it start ?

2 : Doest your car start up easy after it just been shut off and start again ?

it takes about 2-3 long cranks to start it no matter what no matter how long its been since its last been run. No codes.

i should also add that it almost starts when you first turn the key but it takes another long crank or two to fire.

I would bet on fuel pump. any info on fuel pump, its still stock or after market ?

Had a very similar issue 2 months ago. It was the fuel pump check valve, replaced the pump and now it's fine.

ok well talking to you guys about the symptoms and talking to some other people i know lead me to believe that the stocker fuel pump is going after 105k. So i ordered a walbro 255 lph stock location pump tearing into that today. Anybody know any tricks on pulling the tank?

mine did the same thing when the fuel pump was on it's way out. it would start, but took a while. your Walbro will solve the problem.
