2 years on my chandler opti, works great, for $70 bucks I figured I could afford the experiment. Also, they are made by the same factory that manufactures the MSD parts.

I have damn near 300,000 miles on my stocker on my 93! I'm not sure why so many people have problems with these things.

All that would do is increase the price on the opti's.

Thats why people love the AC delco units

in some hot/humid parts of the united states people blow water pumps or get **** in their one way or another, which is bad for ANY distributor. It's just a pain in the *** on these things because of the location of them and the price, it's really no different than any other distributor, you've probably just taken good care of yours or have gotten lucky

No it wouldnt. He is a member of about 50 forums and is going to be a sponsor on a few here shortly. He is working on a revision of the opti thats gonna be even better then this one. He told me himself. After the newest version is up and running, thats when he will look into sponsorships. If he was a sponsor, he would be here for support of the product before and after the sale. Plus, he would sell quite a few through here causing price to go down. Maybe even some group purchases or holiday specials. Think positive.

Well, I have gotten it wet SEVERAL times over the years... and I DID change out the bearing for a better one, but the optical part is still original.

Funny, I was going to buy this opti for my LT1 a couple years ago but was skeptical of the price. So I wen't with the more expensive AC Delco unit. Come to find out these work just fine.
