Default How hard is it to reseal a fast intake? Rear seal blown out.

I have been looking to buy a fast 90 or 92 mm intake and a guy sent me a pm about one he had on a twin turbo car that had blown the rear seal out of the intake. He said it could be pulled apart and resealed using RTV. Does this sound right or are these intakes toast when this happens?

FAST has stopped making replacement part for the LSX as far as I know, its normally uses a long orange rope seal.

I would pass on it because replacement part may not be avaliable and you dont want to seal the whole thing with RTV.
