Default ever get one of those moments that you just stop, stare, and shake your head?

well i was ordering a part from Lingenfelter this morning, its a diode that shields my 2-step from ambient voltage from a line-lock, trans brake, or anything else that uses a strong solenoid. Most of yall know that a diode is the size of a grain of rice and weighs a few grams.

the part is 4.95 from Lingenfelter, the cheapest shipping they have is $11.95 For a part that fits in an envelope and could be mailed for a normal stamp.

WTF is the world coming to?

Fry's electronics? There is one near you, I usually go to that for small electronics rather than order for that exact reason. Shipping is pretty much insane on any small part lol, makes no sense.

WOW...I would setup my own shipping via USPS, UPS, or Fedex and email them the waybill to print, slap on the box, mail your part...I have done that in the past with vendors that were willing to do so...

Do they not watch TV. USPS is all over the commercials with the flat rate boxes starting at 4.95.

Werd. That is just absurd to pay shipping like that.

Oh i assure you guys, i did not order it lol. I really know nothing about diodes other than what they do, and i know 5 bucks isnt a bad price so i figured id order Lingenfelters because its the exact one i need, but not for 12 bucks shipping.

If anbody can give me the five minute Diode 101 id appreciate it LMAO
