I gotta Q; What do I have I just read the post on the guy doing head rest embrodering. Great idea, in fact I want to do it BUT (there's always one of those) I dont know why the hell my head rest look like NO ONE elses. I have a 98 T/A with the gray leather and my head rest are big and bulky with multi adjustment.
There not flat like those that are shown on websites that embroder.
Is this another one of GM's smart moves and I have some sort of Delux or even Standard trim that was only given to T/A's in 98?
I have macthed my car to a 97 Formula, 98 Firebird GT Sport, 00' Firehawk and all have the same flat non adjustable head rest.
So what do I have? Besides a pain in my ares

I have yet to figure out how to take it off. And I it doesnt look as though I can take the leather off the backing.
As for the Q on the UK club. I ran into some F-Body's last month at Rockinham Raceway for there Pontiac Onwers of britian appritian day and track parade but I only have a few months left so I dont feel it would be worth my 20 Pounds (English cureancy). Good people though. If they were with the club you mentioned Im not sure.

Re: I gotta Q; What do I have i had those POS headrests in my '96 Trans Am, and i hated them. by 18k miles they lost all of thier "multi position" abilities and only moved up and down. i think they were an attempt by pontiac to offer a more luxurious 101 position headrest and made junk instead. i think pontiac only used those headrests from '96-'98 and went back to the '93-'95 headrest in '99.

Even though its abit anoying I still like the way it looks as apossed to the flat plain headrest of others.

Re: I gotta Q; What do I have I am not sure about yours since mine is a 99. I did take off the covers and sent them in to have them done. On mine, remove the seat belt bracket and undue the clip on the bottom and work them off. It may not be easy, but they will come off.
