I just put some Kooks afterburners on and..
It sounds awesome at idle and normal driving, but as soon as you put your foot into it,it screams..I don't want that..I have long tube headers and not cats..Is there anything I can do besides take the afterburners off?

I put a set on recently and they seem quite to me lol
Switched from some custom SLP LM I's w/Borla tip axle-backs I had made.
But I now have cats so the afterburners, seem kinda tame, might switch to cat-less again if I can find a set used for a good price.
Or just wait till a cam goes in, I'm sure that'll wake them up

the kooks in my opinion are not loud we have two local guys with them and i think they sound GOOD..... But if you need it to be a lil bit quieter i would add cats and see what that will do..............But if you were worried about sound why did you go with longtubes to begin with?

No doubt...I have them on my HCI car w/ Kooks 1-7/8s, no cats but I still have the stock resonator...the windows in my garage vibrate/rattle when I start the car up, lol.
