Default weird driving issue

my car is a m6. when im cruising in 6th gear my engine keeps revving up slightly. like i can be doing 80 at 2000rpm with my foot still on the accelerator, i watch it on my tach and it goes up and down. it will go 2000 to maybe 2050. i can hear it in the exhaust being my car is pretty loud, up and down, up and down. but the thing is im not losing any speed and the engine isnt having any problems.
my first thought is a clutch problem. im still on the factory clutch at 93k plus its been making noises for a long time. i havent noticed it slipping. i have no problems taking off other than some rough engagement of the clutch.

ive never seen this before in a m6 only other place i saw it was an auto that was slipping. any ideas?

Im not too knowledgeable in this area but since it only happens in 6th maybe its not fully engaging for some reason.

check to see if it happens in any other gear. If so could br your TPS.
