Fuel rail hits #5 coil

The fuel rail on the ls6 intake is hitting the #5 truck coil. What has everybody done to solve this?

I've seen guys bend the line up and I've seen guys take one coil pack bolt loose and angle it away. Might need a combination of both.

That is only drawback of the truck coils with the LS1/LS6 fuel rail.

Bill, the rail will fit the other way, turn it around so the feed line comes off the other side, I think it misses that way......I'll check mine tomorrow for sure...

It hits #4 when flipped. A slight bend and/or tilt is required. Billet rails solve the issue without mods

used this combination of parts too many times to count. Always tweaked the line to clear and never had any problem. Usually use a deep socket and an extension, slide it over the rail inlet, move carefully...and it's done.
