Default How do I change the wheel studs on a 3 channel 10 bolt?

Not sure which forum this belongs in so I'm posting it in here and in Gears and Axles.
I have a 3 channel, so there's no hole in the backing plate where the TCS sensor would be. Do I have to pull out the axles or drill big holes through the backing plates to put longer studs in the back? I think I remember seeing a thread where someone managed to do it without having to do either one of those things but I could be wrong; I couldn't find the thread. Thanks.

I've always just hammered them out, and drove
Them back in with a lugnut.

Jesus Tommy ever board your on has seen this lol. Can't you just take the calipers off and loosen the backing plates so they will move enough to get the studs out? Or just buy a set of 3 channel axles install your studs and swap axles?

I did this on the front, no problem. The rear is very different.

I could pull the axles, sure. I'm just lazy and don't want to. I don't think that I can even loosen the backing plates without getting the axles out of the way, and even if I could loosen them it looks like they would still be in the way.
I may just sell these damn Prostars, they're starting to look like more trouble then they're worth.
