I just recently recieved my twin purge setup from Dynotune, and will probley just shoot my wads at the cowl.
If I had a Trans Am WS6, I would love to put the purge ends at the snorkel openings of the ram air hood. That is really cool looking.

the side and front look real cool. i have a ws6 and think i'll put mine at the sides,i dont want to disrupt any air flow from the hood.

From the pics, I have to think you are already thinking the front, since you have so many front shots. But, I like the side purge, looks more intimidating from a spectator view I think.

How about out of the heat extractors on the sides of the hood? Might look cool? But I like the wiper shot.

You can't run a purge line to come out of the upper nostrils because the purge is stationary and the hood has to move. if you want them to blow out the front it will have to be at the lower nostrils, like mine. The purge line is only an AN3 sized line so it won't disrupt to much air. BTW, If you want it to come out both nostrils you will have to split the line with a "T" fitting and make seperate lines for each side.

Thanks for the responses.

As of now the votes are:

5 votes for the sides.
2 votes for the ram air.

taJon: WS6 hoods dont come with heat extractors like the firehawks if thats what you were talking about.

Elite_Hot_Rod: Thanks for the info. I understand exactly what you mean about how it would not be possible to purge from the upper nostrils. But then I remembered... How did this guy do it??

You could scare the holy $hit out of someone getting into the car with that side purge.

Right as they reach for the pass door handle give 'em a little purge, LMAO.

I think I may do the side purge, I'm putting in a NX 100 wet setup in the next couple of weeks.

The side would look cool.

The guy that did the purge out of his top nostrils used flexible high pressure like, like brake line of some sort and just ran the lines up the hood to the nostrils.

9 Votes for the side so far ..
2 votes for the ram air nostrils..

I guess no one likes the windshield purge...

Trans Am lover, your right about that. Just asked nitro dave about that and he said it can easily be done.

SilverTA, foglights? .. i'd never take off my fogs for a purge. I drive with my fogs on 24/7.
