Hello everyone, I have a 98 LS1 Camaro. I was wondering where the fuel filter is located, what it takes to change one, and how much does a new one cost?

towards the back on your drivers side frame rail. follow your fuel line. even my dumb ass changed one in 15 minutes.

Thanks buddy, do I need any goofy tools or will wrenches & ratchets do the job?

i believe its a 7/8" end wrench and a 5/8 on the line? You should be able to pinch in plastic connector in and slide the filter off. Wear safety glasses tho, never know if you will get some sprayed in the face. Which reminds me, bleed off the fuel pressure before hand

no special tool required. Just your standard wrenches.

ALWAYS use flare wrenches on those nuts
