Need opions on next mod.. Car Audio.. which looks better?
Well an informal poll.. im down to two head units.. the Pioneer 8400 and 9400.. while the 9400 is undoubtedly a better unit im sure it also has features I will not need on my mid level system.
The 8400 is in the running for the simple fact that it has most of the options of the 9400 but a nicer design (although i like the color of the 9400 better).. cofused yet?? I know I am.. the dual split face design of the 8400 would help fill the huge 1.5 din area (when its on).. So which do you think LOOKS better (audio experts can give opinions on functions)..

Thanks for you help.. Oh, that reminds me.. ive got to call Fikse tomorrow about a new wheel design i saw yesterday

I personally would go with the 9400. it looks cleaner. plus its darker to go with the carbon fiber... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Personally, neither one. I have the 8400 in my car and it was cool at first, but damn, the animations at night will give you a freaking headache. The image on the screen, no matter what it is animates and turns to a negative image every 20 seconds or so and stays that way for about 20 seconds then goes back to normal. Its an eyesore and i keep it closed at night. The tuning capabilities and clarity is top notch..but blah.
I'm gonna save up for the Alpine din.3 flip out.

I vote for none go flip out Pioneer TV. much nicer display screen and at night flips away! The higher price ones have a small display in the front to use it when it is fliped in!!

NO NO on the 8400, too techno-freaky. Plus I feel you'd nail the flip out thingy while shifting. More movable parts, more likely to break.
The 9400 is nice, but IMHO I've never like Pioneer, nice for enry level, but not of the high end quality.
Now the Premier Line . . . Different story.
